Hello Everyone,
His hand is mighty! As the sun rises and the world wakes up, the rhythms of life continue to flow. This is no small thing. The sunrise may feel like a normal rhythm of life, but it is miraculous. Every moment is dependent on His mighty hand.
Today, we are reminded of the hand that causes the sun to rise; the hand that enables the flow of life; the hand that offers us new possibilities every day. This hand is mighty. His hand; God’s hand is mighty!
Below is a picture I captured of sunrise. It was a living, breathtaking moment. I was filled with wonder as I realised it was also a miracle moment. It was a miracle, simply because the sun rose at the might of God’s hand. That very moment I was in, the breath I took, was because of God’s hand is mighty. Next time you look at a sunrise, consider the mighty hand of God but also think about this. God’s mighty hand created everything with such precision, positioning our earth at precisely the right distance from the sun. One click out and life would not be sustainable. That’s mighty!
At the might of God’s hand today, your life is breathtaking, miraculous and sustained. His hand is mighty!
So friends, get His might on, because no matter what the message of the world currently is, God’s hand is mighty.

Hello Everyone,
Resurrection power! At this point in time our days can feel like we are cocooned in isolation. Being isolated, has prompted me to think of Jesus during His time in the grave.
On the back of Easter and the glorious story of the resurrection of Jesus, we see the full impact of Jesus rising from the dead. Resurrection power. God raised Jesus to life. He came out of the tomb. At the end of His three day “isolation” in the grave, a monumental transformation occurred; a shift in death and life. Resurrection power. The victory Jesus had over death was only possible as He died and was cocooned, isolated and sealed in a grave. The victory came after Jesus had been buried. When Jesus rose, life was impacted forever. We are now the recipients of his resurrection power. Ephesians 2 tells us we were dead. But God bought us back to life in Jesus and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms so we can do His good works.
Here’s the challenge. We have the resurrection power of Jesus. What will our victory look like after this time of cocooning? Will our time in isolation be a time of transformation because of the resurrection power of Jesus? Will we ask Jesus to change us and use us to do His good works in greater ways so others will encounter his resurrection power? Resurrection power says yes.
So, friends, get your resurrection power on and be the transformation.

Hello Everyone,
Jesus loves me! What a simple but profound statement that is richly loaded with meaning and implications for life.
As we approach Easter, I am reminded of this magnificent Saviour who has unlocked my salvation. In Christian circles we hear the words “Jesus loves me” over and over, and whilst we sincerely believe this truth, we can acclimatise to its full-bodied meaning and impact. Today I want to pause there. Jesus loves me! Say it with me and say it slow: “Jesus loves me!” Say it again and again until the truth marinates your thoughts and flavours your spiritual understanding.
Considering you and I were on a collision course with death, that guaranteed eternal separation from God, and we could not do a thing to ever alter that predicament, the words “Jesus loves me” are not only life-defining, they are life-altering. To help us embrace it’s depth, we could ask the question “what if Jesus didn’t love me?” If we let our minds loose even for one minute to consider this, we would begin to understand that the repercussions in our lives would be catastrophic and we would be adrift, without hope or purpose. Thankfully, the truth is that “Jesus does love me” and for that I am deeply grateful.
So friends, get your “Jesus loves me” on and thank Him with all your being.

Hello Everyone,
Are we there yet? How many times have we hushed the kids for repeatedly asking that age old question: “are we there yet?” But could we be found with this question on our lips at this point in time?
Here’s a question for you. In this time of crisis do you live wishing for the day this crisis will be over? Are you wising away the days, the months or the year and asking “are we there yet?”
Or do you live with a deep consciousness of the inherent value of your life? If we tie our value and quality of life to our circumstances then we may as well wish away the days, because circumstances change. But if we understand the intrinsic value and worth ascribed to us by God, it changes how we treasure the gift of every moment no matter what is going on in life. We can lose an awful lot between “are we there yet” and actually being right here, right now. Our lives are a miraculous gift from God and although it is natural to wish for better circumstances in times of difficulty, it is not natural in God’s economy to exchange the significance of being made in the image of God with immense value, embracing every moment of life with deep gratefulness for an express exit just because life can be harsh. Life is always a gift.
Life is short, life passes quickly. Life is valuable. Let’s not ask “are we there yet?” Let’s ask “am I in this moment?” and live like we have already answered that question in the affirmative.
So friends, get your value on and enjoy this moment.

Hello Everyone,
Ten thousand reasons to sing! Really? Yes, really.
There are times in life where it feels like the storms raging around us are so great that all we feel like we can see is the height of the waves ready to crash over us and smash us against the rocks. When adversity presses in on us from every angle, all we can see is the walls that hem us in. It seems hard to find one reason to sing let alone ten thousand. Yet Jesus beckons us to look past the storm, past the waves and past the walls and to fix our gaze on Him and who He is. When we understand Jesus is above the storm, above the waves and outside our walls, simply because of who He is, we understand we are actually free. It is our vision of Jesus that gives us the passage to live unshackled in the midst of adversity (as difficult as it can be) and to unearth the ten thousand reasons to sing.
1 Corinthians 4:16-18 is a good place to start. “16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” Right there you will find ten thousand reasons to sing.
So, friends, get your song on today.

Hello Everyone,
God always gives more! At a time where it feels like everything is being taken away; our social time, our community life, potential loss of good health, shopping sprees (that hurts ☺), the buzzing vibe of our local cafes, our work, our freedom, and our routines; God always gives more! Life online is not quite the same as gathering together. Fear of loss can hum away in the deepest recesses of our minds. When we lose something, we grieve and we feel powerless to recover. As we pause today, we are reminded that God always gives more.
Check out Joseph in Genesis 37-50. Now, there’s a story of isolation; stripped of everything (his family, his culture, his identity, his routine, his sense of favour, his purpose and his future or so he thought). But check out God. What God gave Joseph was beyond any of his expectations; it was so much more.
God will always give us more. Before we take our next breath, He has already given more than we can ask or think. He gives love, security, peace, mercy, provision, healing, comfort, presence, strength, courage, perseverance and so much more. Isaiah 40:29 is just one of hundreds of verses that give us a glimpse at God’s heart to always give more.
So, friends, open your arms wide, because God has positioned you to receive so much more than you can ask or imagine.
Have a read of this poem by Annie Johnson Flint:
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction, He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, He multiplies peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half-done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.
His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men,
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again.
